From the Founder's Desk
A note from the operator behind HACKTRICK — why this platform exists, and where it's going.
“Building the operating system for the next generation of hackers.”
HACKTRICK is India's raw, always-on cybersecurity ecosystem — where curious learners turn into hired operators through skill alone. No paywalls. No gatekeepers. No noise.
I'm 21, from New Delhi, and I've watched too many brilliant hackers get filtered out of the industry — not because they weren't good enough, but because the pipeline is broken. Offensive security in India is buried under expensive certifications, gated communities, and HR teams that can't tell a script kiddie from a real operator. Skill exists. Signal doesn't.
So I built HACKTRICK. Not a course platform. Not another CTF site. An entire ecosystem — content, community, competitions, cities, courses and careers — stitched together so a curious 15-year-old from Karol Bagh can go from watching their first exploit video to landing a red-team role, without paying a rupee or asking anyone for permission.
We're building the world where proof-of-work replaces the resume. Where every solved lab is a signal. Where recruiters scout by leaderboard, not by LinkedIn keyword. This is day one — and we're just getting started.
»Skill is the new resume.
